YarraPlentyBooks is a Reader Development Wiki created by Yarra Plenty Regional Library staff. It is constantly being added to and updated for everyone's enjoyment so you may discover something new each time you visit. We have created booklists, book reviews, links to Book Groups and Reader Development tools with a focus on sharing reading experiences.  We hope you find your visit interesting!  


 Feature Author - July 2008 - Kylie Ladd

 

Kylie Ladd is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Good Weekend and O magazine, amongst others. She also holds a PhD in neuropsychology and writes a weekly blog for Sydney's Child magazine. Her first novel, After the Fall, will be published by Allen and Unwin in 2009."

Booksalive

 

Check out this site from Sunday 27 July for the Booksalive events hosted at Yarra Plenty Regional Library.  The authors and titles are under embargo at the present time so be surprised and thrilled by who will be visiting in August and the titles on the Booksalive list - it will make for some fun and fascinating reading!

Children's adventure day

As part of Education Week 2008 Yarra Plenty Regional Library, Eltham College of Education and the Debating Association of Victoria partnered to run a debating event at the Eltham Library
